Good Opening
Well, the opening to the Crisis? What Crisis? show was great. Thanks to all of the people who came out and offered their support and kind words. I really have to thank my family for picking up the extra work around the house in the last weeks leading up to the opening. They really gave me a chance to get things finished on the easel, and all the help with organizing and working the opening was tremendous. We’re a good team.
Guylaine took some pictures when she wasn’t looking after the guests, so I’ll get some of those up ASAP.
A little plug for another upcoming Electric Gallery event:
The Electric Gallery Co-op is hosting a silent auction to raise funds for the Ottawa Food Bank on February 2, 2007. All Ottawa artists are invited to participate in this event. Art valued to approximately $400 can be dropped off at the gallery during regular hours (Wed – Sun). Artists have the option of retaining up to 25% of sale price to cover costs.
