Arteast group show at Gloucester Gallery

Members of Arteast have another juried group show at the Gloucester Gallery. It runs from August 30 to October 2, 2007. This themed show is titled “Dreaming in Colour”, and celebrates community volunteerism by being the first exhibition put on strictly by the people who volunteer many hours of their time to making Arteast the vibrant organization it is. (Yes, I have two paintings in the show because I’m the web guy).

On another note … I actually finished another painting that has been defying completion for quite some time. I don’t have an image to put up in the gallery yet, but I will soon. It’s called “I was a Teenage Watercolour Nude”.

What?

2007 Gallery Update

Judging from the state of the web site’s 2007 gallery it would seem I’m sittin’ around thinking about my job all day … or yardwork … or vacation … but no — I have actually been painting — lots — just not on anything that was ready to head out into the real world. Well, a small batch is slowly rising and leaving the mixed-metaphorical nest.

Please welcome “Laughing Painting” and “The Great Cattle Car Incident”. Be gentle — they’re shy.
